The ResSoil project was born with the aim of offering a superior quality soil, capable of solving some of the most common problems of the substrates present on the market.

One of the main defects of traditional soils is the variability in composition: each batch of the same product can have different fertilizations, causing uncertainty and inconsistent results for those who grow. Furthermore, sterilization at high temperatures (over 100 degrees) in ovens, a widespread practice in the sector, eliminates any pathogens, but also destroys all the beneficial bacteria naturally present in the substrate, compromising its vitality and biological balance. This aggressive sterilization also disintegrates the structure of the peat, worsening its water retention capacity and making it less effective in retaining water and nutrients.

Lithuanian blond peat, selected for its high quality and grain size of 0-20 mm, offers superior water retention capacity. After rigorous testing throughout Europe, it has been further improved with perlite, to optimize its structure, and with Idro S, an organic humectant that maximizes water absorption.

Another critical issue is storage. Many potting soils are stored outdoors, exposed to the elements and subject to the risk of pest infestations, mold, and contamination. This practice drastically reduces the freshness of the product and represents a potential danger to crops, leading to unpredictable results and compromising the health of the plants.

With ResSoil, we have chosen to do things differently. After a long phase of research and in-depth testing, we have selected the best peats available in Europe, favoring those with excellent water retention capacity and naturally rich in beneficial bacteria. Our Lithuanian blond peat is treated with a steam sterilization process at 60 degrees, a temperature sufficient to eliminate any pathogens without compromising the beneficial bacterial flora, essential for healthy and vigorous plant growth.

Each batch of ResSoil undergoes rigorous quality control and analysis to ensure consistently high standards. This data is always available to customers, offering maximum transparency and reliability. Furthermore, to preserve its integrity, our soil is stored exclusively in closed sheds, away from humidity, bad weather and contamination.
